The Murphy Auto Museum offered free admission to visitors who brought an unwrapped gift. All 7 Leon's Transmission Service locations received toys for the California Highway Patrol's annual “Chips for Kids" toy drive.
Since World War 1, the poppy has become the true symbol of all those who have given their lives fighting our nation’s wars. All donations from the sale of buddy poppies go to charitable programs on behalf of veterans in need, and their families.

In the early morning hours of July 8, 2010, Leon’s Transmission Services, in Reseda, was broken into and our '57 Chevy Bel Air convertible was stolen.
Raised $250.00 for 'Luggage of Love' charity, plus $100.00 for the Girl Scouts. Brought automobilia from the Murphy Auto Museum for this 1st Annual Custom Car & Motorcycle Show.
Raised over $400.00 for the Valley Traffic Officers. Brought 1936 Packard from the Murphy Auto Museum along with automobilia displays. Raffle winner won a "New Custom Mini-Bike".
Raised $360.00 for the Girl Scouts, and $350.00 for the Avon Walk. Brought a Studabaker pickup from the Murphy Auto Museum and other automobilia. Raffle winner won "Vintage Tricycle".
Raised $300.00 for the Girl Scouts, and $300.00 for the Avon Walk. Brought a 1954 Packard and automobilia from the Murphy Auto Museum. Raffle winner, Mark B. with his prize "Grey Ghost, by Schwinn".
